Stephens v. Peterson (Wash. Super. Ct.)
In June 2023, attorney Doug McDermott reached a favorable settlement in a medical malpractice lawsuit against a Spokane, Washington surgeon and MultiCare Health System alleging that the surgeon negligently installed a knee replacement, and then negligently failed to diagnose the problem during follow-up care. As a result of this negligence, the patient required a second total knee replacement and multiple other procedures. The terms of the settlement are confidential.
